Meet the Spokane Team

Troy Campbell, Operating Partner and General Manager

Troy Campbell

Operating Partner and General Manager

I was born and raised right here in Spokane, Washington, and Tomato Street has been a second home to me for nearly two decades. I started in 2008 as an assistant manager, and over the years, I’ve grown into the roles of general manager and now operating partner. I’ve had the privilege of raising a family at home—and gaining a family at work. This place isn’t just where I clock in; it’s where I’ve grown, learned, and built lasting relationships. I’m proud to lead a team that shows up every day with heart, hustle, and a shared commitment to excellence. Their genuine care for our guests and for one another is what makes Tomato Street feel like home to me and so many others.

Kisong Smith, Kitchen Manager

Kisong Smith

Kitchen Manager

When I was a kid, I publicly announced to my family that I wanted to be a cook in a restaurant. After pursuing different life goals, I landed here at Tomato Street. It has been 14 years now, from Dishwasher and Busser, to Kitchen Manager. Though I am proud of our from-scratch menu, I find that what I am truly passionate about, is my staff. Leadership in this environment has given me the opportunity to be humbled by their motivation to learn, grow, and develop their own careers and lives. It is one thing to build a menu, I can do that alone. It is an entirely different thing to build a community. It takes us all.

Sean Van Blaricom, Assistant Kitchen Manager

Sean Van Blaricom

Assistant Kitchen Manager

I started my journey here around the early 2000s as a pizza cook and within two to three years after having been through all the line stations, I took on a role as a shift leader. Eventually, a position was created for me as assistant kitchen manager which holds a wide variety of responsibilities and challenges. It has been and continues to be a wild ride!
